At GPMD, we have built and worked on a host of Magento websites and consider it to be the best open source ecommerce platform on the market.
We often reference different Magento websites when we’re talking to clients or discussing designs internally, so I thought I’d make a list of my favourite ecommerce websites that have been built on Magento.
NB: This article was last updated on the the 20th of March 2013.
If you’re looking to develop a website on the Magento platform, please feel free to drop me an email (paulrogers 21 at gmail.com) if you have any questions about it or if you’re looking for an agency or freelancer to work with.
I’ve highlighted and featured the following websites because I think they provide a good user experience and because of their design. Please feel free to provide feedback on my selections and recommend more Magento sites in the comments below or via Twitter.

Check out our site on Magento: http://www.smileycookie.com
Looks good – I’ve added it to the list
Hi Paul – is mydeco.com really on Magento?
It doesn’t look like it is anymore, I’ve resolved it – thanks for flagging that up.
I noticed they redesigned it, didn’t realise that they moved away from Magento.
I especially love the Lenovo store’s design. We’re running several Magento stores, too, e.g. http://www.naturkost.com. I love the immense flexibility and the robust concept Magento has to offer.
Great list, Paul! One more to add to your list – http://www.bonobos.com does a tremendous job on Magento as well.
Hi Stephanie,
Thanks, their website is very cool – lots of interactive elements.
I will add it to the list this evening
These websites are really cool. Great design.
Paul,
This is the best list of quality Magento Webites that I have been able to find.
One thing, the link to ONEIDA should be: http://www.oneida.com/
I’ll continue checking out your Blog…great information.
